Adjustments layers and colour curve levels
Adjusting these allows you to subtly change the colour saturation, colour connotations and it allows you to give your image a hue. It gives your photo a kind of retro look as it was used in the 1980's to expose film.
Cross processing-create a new film or adjustment layer- curves-drop down menu-use the graph to alter the coloours. Red move the lins to create a kind of s shape, green shorten the line and blue again create and s shape. then create another level, go to adjustment layers and add a dolid yellowy green colour and change the capacity to around 10%

Creating a CD cover!photoshop file new- change the pxels to millimetres and make sure its 120 by 120, and the resolution is 300 ppi.
Ive used a gradient of two colours (purple and green) and used a flowery patterend brush tool. My brush pattern matches the name of the band my cd covers for...NATURES HEROE's.

shutter speeds
Shutter Speeds
Shutter speed are there to allow you to freeze frame an image or create mortion blur. It does this by the shutter opening for a longer period of time to allow more light into the camera or having a short shutter speed time which lets alot less light in.
I used a long shutter speed to allow maximun light into the camer this allowed us to create shapes and patterns in the dark with a torch.
Again playing with the camera shutter speeds to create this swirly pattern shape in the dark with the torch, the darkness emphasises the light within the picture
Here i used a quick shutter speed to capture my model lisa running. shes has been freeze framed. We can see she was moving by her hair being frozen in the air and blowing in the wind also the background is a little blury and unfocused because of the camera moving with lisa.
